The Challenge

Hydro Extrusions operates aluminium extrusion plants across Europe. The extrusion process generates intense heat — ambient temperatures on the production floor regularly exceed 40°C in summer, creating dangerous working conditions and reducing productivity.

The Solution

TECNOCOOLING high-pressure misting systems were installed at multiple Hydro Extrusions facilities, including the extrusion plant in Harderwijk, Netherlands. Systems operate at 70–120 bar, producing ultra-fine mist that evaporates before reaching workers or equipment.

The Challenge

McDonald’s Europe wanted to extend the usability of outdoor seating areas during summer months. Hot weather was reducing terrace occupancy and customer dwell time — directly impacting revenue. A solution was needed that was visually unobtrusive, hygienic, safe for food service environments and easy to maintain across hundreds of locations.

The Solution

TECNOCOOLING outdoor misting systems were installed at McDonald’s locations across Europe. The systems use stainless steel nozzles with anti-drip valves, producing ultra-fine mist that cools the air without wetting food, surfaces or guests.

• Terrace temperatures reduced by up to 9°C on peak summer days

The Challenge

The World Expo Milano 2015 attracted over 21 million visitors across a 6-month period. The outdoor exhibition site required cooling solutions for public walkways, pavilion entrances and event areas — on a massive scale, with aesthetic requirements matching the world-class event setting.

TECNOCOOLING supplied high-pressure misting systems for both cooling and special effects applications throughout the Expo site. Systems were integrated into architectural structures and landscape features, providing both temperature reduction and visual spectacle for visitors.

The Challenge

Indaver operates waste processing and recycling facilities across Belgium and the Netherlands. Dust generated at tipping halls, conveyor systems and shredder lines created health risks for workers, regulatory compliance issues and nuisance for surrounding areas.

The Solution

TECNOCOOLING high-pressure dust suppression systems were installed at Indaver facilities. Mist rings at conveyor transfer points and fixed nozzle arrays in tipping halls capture and suppress airborne particles at source, before they can become a hazard.

The Challenge

Santiago, Chile experiences extreme summer temperatures, with the metro system serving millions of daily commuters. Passenger comfort at above-ground stations and entrance areas was a key operational challenge — conventional air conditioning was impractical and energy-prohibitive at scale.
